NC-v4 EAc2:Optimize energy performance

Shared HVAC system with non-LEED building

Hi all, We are looking to certify a new building on a higher-ed campus that will be sharing HVAC systems with an existing building. The existing building will likely not pursue certifications. The HVAC system will primarily be new, serving both buildings. How do we navigate energy credits? Is this a question about "reasonable LEED boundaries" instead? Thanks, Hannah
