Dear All,
One of our clients is developing a project that includes two independent buildings (9 levels office tower and a retail building) located in the same site but without any direct communication other than an enclosed carpark that serves both buildings.
The client intends to certify the office tower (LEED BD+C Core&Shell) but does not intend to certify the retail building.
The water tank of the firefighting system is common to both buildings and will be fed by well water.
In what relates to this pre-requisite:
- is it necessary to install water meters in the firefighting water ?
- If yes, a single meter at tank entrance is sufficient ? or is it necessary to install a meter in the office building entrance ?
Thanks in advance.
