EBOM-v4 EAp2:Minimum energy performance

Shared building electricity meter

We have a building which shares electricity meter with an adjacent building, only one building will be intended for certification, it is possible to identify the percentage of consumption in every building through temporary electricity metering, a preliminary benchmarking was done, a new meter for the single building will be installed. We have a question: Is it possible to register only 10 months for the performance period with the new meter? The other two months at the beginning would be registered using the old electricity meter and temporary metering. I mean temporary metering as perform electricity metering (kWh, kW) during one full week per month, using a FLUKE Power Logger Thank you!

Are you saying that the temporary would measure electricity consumption for a full week per month and then that data would be extrapolated to estimate the full month's electricity use? If so, that wouldn't meet the metering requirement since actual metered data is required for a full 12 months. Also, the prerequisite for Building-Level Energy Metering states explicitly that the meter must be permanent and that at least 12 months of data must be collected. If you measured the full two months of actual data with the temporary meter, without gaps and prior to installation of the permanent meter, I could see that being allowed since that would meet the intent of having a permanent meter installed and eliminating any data gaps of energy use by the end of the performance period.

Thanks a lot for you reply, the meter will be permanently installed
