Is it necessary to calibrate sensors during the performance period even if the manufacturer’s recommended interval didn't pass yet? Or can it only be mentioned in the maintenence plan that the appropriate sensors have to be calibrated before the expiration date indicated by the manufacturer?

Hi Agata,
This is a great question, sorry for the delayed response! The intent of that requirement is to confirm that the sensors were working properly during the performance period, so a maintenance plan and confirmation of the manufacturer's recommendations is a good approach if sensors don't need to be calibrated yet. I would recommend adding the date of sensor installation and the date of required calibration in the maintenance plan, and uploading the equipment manual or other documentation showing the manufacturer's recommendations.
