NC-2009 EAc1:Optimize Energy Performance

Semiheated space and baseline model

In the proposed building there is a semiheated space (climate zone 4, heating power 40 W/m^2, no ventilation, no cooling). In the baseline model shall that space be modeled without HVAC system?

Yes, only conditioned space needs to be modeled with an HVAC system. See Table G3.1-1 (Baseline) (b). So in semi-heated spaces the baseline gets modeled identically to the proposed with the same heating type, capacity ratios, fan volume, and fan power.
