For a project I am working on, we are demolishing classrooms with built-in furniture. I know the furniture will be warehoused by the educational institution, and I believe the furniture will be used elsewhere (e.g. not on our project). If I apply this salvage as diversion from landfill under this credit, does it kick in the requirement to track furniture in credits 3-7? I assume if we re-use the furniture under MRc3, we need to apply furniture across the boards in MRc3-7. Is that correct?

Jonathan, I think it is safe do as you plan for this credit. I believe that "built-ins" do not fall under the furniture category anyway, as they are usally assembled on-site and are not movable. If you reuse these built-ins for MRc3, unless they are then movable furniture, I don't think you'll kick in the furniture across credits requirment.Anyone else have experience with this?
