I am currently working on a new retail construction project and would like to know if we should include the chilled drink cabinets (fizzy drinks, Milk etc.) within the Fundamental Refrigeration Calculation EAP4. The LEED forms suggests that we should complete the table below for all mechanical cooling equipment serving the project building. it is not clear if the drinks cabinets should be included.

Hi Jason, Any equipment that contains more than 225 grams (0.5 lbs) of refrigerant must be included in the calculations for this prerequisite. Almost all drinks cabinets will be below this limit and can therefore be excluded, but if you are purchasing a new piece of equipment or can access the model number, it doesn't hurt to check!
