Retail (other than mall) or Enclosed Mall

I'm certifying a project which is located within a mall, it has access from the street and from inside the mall. In this credit, for table EAc5-2 I am not sure if I should consider the Building Type as a Enclosed and Strip Mall or as Retail (other than mall). The Default MEI for Retail other than mall is much more real for my project type than the enclosed mall, but I am not sure which one I am supposed to chose. We are not doing energy simulation.

You say it is within a mall, so it sounds like you should use mall. When in doubt about these kinds of issues it is always a good idea to pick the conservative choice. In this case that means the higher value.
