NC-v4 EAp2:Minimum energy performance

Regd. heating system to be selected in baseline energy model as per ASHRAE 90.1 2013

Hi, we have a hospital project in India following ASHRAE 90.1 2013 and having cooling as the predominant system. There is monsoon reheat using 2 electric hot water generators connected to the reheat coils in terminal fan boxes. The monsoon reheat basically serves as a means of RH balancing.

Now I have couple of doubts to be clarified here:

1. I have run the complete energy simulation, however I am not finding any percentage energy consumption due to heating. What can be the reason?

2. What will be the baseline heating system to be considered for the above case as per ASHRAE 90.1 2013

Thanks a lot in advance.

Anyone on the above query?

1. This issue would require troubleshooting of the modeling inputs which it outside the scope of this forum. I recommend contacting the software support team if you are unable to resolve this. 2. The Baseline system is determined using Table G3.1.1-3 based on building type/size and climate zone, with additional modifications for dehumidification as outlined by Section G3.1.3.18.
