Hello to all LEED USERS,
I have a an office building in Europe under CORE and SHELL.
- Concerning Prerequisite Indoor Water Use Reduction I am thinking to choose v4.1. because In the reference guide is stated that: “ Projects located where standard supply pressure is different than the LEED baseline supply pressure may calculate the water consumption of flow fixtures and fittings at the local standard supply pressure.” As known, In Europe the pressure is different than 415 kPa for public lavatory. It is given 300 kPa (example 1,33 lpm at 300 kPA )
In that example
Does it mean that in the Indoor Water Use Reduction Calculator I am going to enter the value 1,33 lpm for 300 kPA? So I am going to compare the baseline 1,9 lpm at 415 kPA vs the one 1,33 lpm at 300 kPA?
2. If I choose the v4.1 for the prerequisite Indoor Water Use Reduction am I allowed to use the version v4 for the credit Indoor Water Use Reduction? I would be interested in doing that because the version v4 in Core and Shell has a maximum 6 points vs 4 in v4.1
Thank you very much for your answer

I can try to answer, at least for parts of this. You may want to also post this question in the CS and NC v4 pages, which tend to have more traffic on it, in case others can chime in.
If there are elements to the calculator that are not already in place in the file, you will likely need to provide your own supplementary calculations along with a narrative description of steps taken.
You will need to clarify with LEED Coach about using v4.1 for the Prereq and v4 for the Credit. I have not had this question come up on my projects - but I have not had a reason to use the v4.1 option at all. I'm curious as to why you would want to for yours? If it's only for that statement you've highlighted, you may also want to ask LEED Coach if that can also apply to v4 (and if it does not, what the reason is).
I have seen that for other Prereq/Credit pairings, projects were required to only use one version to apply to both, even when it was not explicitly stated in the guide.
