Hi, the scope of the project is to renovate the 3rd floor of a 5 storey building (all floors will be renovated eventually but the client wants to certify each floor as we go). The question is, if the LEED boundary is the third floor only, does this means we cannot go for credits included in categories such as sustainable sites? Thanks!

In ID+C Commercial Interiors you can earn credits for surrounding density, access to transit, bike facilities, and reduced parking in the Location and Transportation credit category, even if your boundary is just one floor.
In CI there isn't a Sustainable Sites category for other site related credits like stormwater management, open space, habitat, etc. but some projects have pursued one or two of those as Innovation credits.
