Dear All,
The credit language changed recently which raises a lot of questions, at least to me.
My main question is regarding buying EACs.
It seems both Tier 2 and Tier 3 allow to purchase EACs?
The difference is that in Tier 2 it has to be purchased from a source which is in operation within 5 years?
Tier 2 also says that "delivery of EACs of more than 100% of the project’s annual electricity use", how much more and what are the point rewards then?
"The default contract length for renewable energy procurement is 10 years. Contract lengths less than 10 years may be pro-rated."
I beleive you can't really contract purchasing EACs for 5-10 years, how you should pro-rate it? Can you cover let's say 500% of your consumption with a one-time purchase which would equal 50% for ten years? (for 5 points in Tier 2 but basically same question applies for Tier 3)
The project is in Europe.
Thank you in advance if you already have experience with it, or just understand it better than me :)
