I know private shuttles do not count, and the LEED credit language emphasizes walking distance; however, can you count the trips at a ferry station and train station that are accessible through publically available shuttles that pick up/drop off within 1/2 mile walking distance of the project site and are only used to shuttle people between dense office development and public transit? I believe this still supports the intent of this credit by having people take public transit instead of driving. Thanks for any insight!

Hi Lindsey, this seems like a stretch to me but I'd encourage you to discuss with GBCI if you think you meet the credit intent. The 1/4 mile distance would apply to your shuttle and the 1/2 mile would be for your ferry and train. It doesn't seem like you can meet either but I could be misreading your post?
