After reading the background and support for the SSpc75 credit (https://www.stopthesoot.org/LEED.pdf), it is particularly interesting to see private business catalyzing, or at least sponsoring, the development of new credits. I take this as steps in a business marketplace to become the leader in the industry and to be a step ahead in offerings when requirements become required policy. Since policy-making has become increasingly partisan (go figure) to the point of alienating citizens at a very local level, this pushes the point of validity when a private industry accepts a baseline requirements in terms of emissions, etc. I would be curious to know what developments are being considered by private businesses  in terms of sponsoring a sustainable goal, such as emissions reduction, etc. Does anyone have any information as to what benefit, besides annecdotally, there is in terms of economics for the years after sponsoring such programs?
