Is only the portion of a property that is within the 1/4 mile radius calculated, or the entirety property? I have a few large, low-density parcels that perhaps only about 10% of is actually within the boundary, that are greatly impacting my density calculations. I can't find any specific language related to this.

Hi Bonnie,
This question was just asked a few weeks ago in the post just before this one, but under a different title, so you may not have been able to see enough content in the snapshot to tell. I've copy/pasted the response here for reference:
"Oddly enough, the exact same question was also just recently posted under this credit, but for the NC rating system. I agree with a response provided there from Calie Gihl, so I have copied it here rather than try to reword it myself:
First, I think it's important to make sure that you're not doing more work than you need to be. If you meet the credit requirements before having to count those half buildings, then don't bother counting them (credit language: Provided that all land area within the radius is accounted for, project teams must collect only enough density information to demonstrate that values in Table 1 are met or exceeded.)
However, if you are relying on these buildings for this point,I don't see why you can't count the percentage of floor area or units which is covered within the 1/4 mile radius.. I've scoured the forums, credit language, and FAQs... it doesn't appear this issue has been directly covered, so if this was my credit I would definitely go for it.
...as for the main entrances, I don't think this applies to the density option, but it might apply to the diverse uses option, as this has to do directly with walking distance."
Hope this is what you are looking for.
