Hi,
I am currently working on a Recreation Facility exclusively used for the Female Lacrosse Team, for calculating the water reduction, can I calculate the Lavatory Faucet as Private, it is only used for the team, it is not a public locker room, it is only for the team. There are already public bathrooms provided.
Thanks,,

I believe this would be counted as public. Private uses typically apply to residential settings, like the actual dormitories.

Candace is correct; the lavatory faucets in the locker room as described would still be considered public fixtures.

We are working on a project whereby there are bathroom facilities exclusively for use by a single person. There are other facilities for public use but a private section for exclusive use by this single (important) person. How would this be entered into the calculator? Would it still be considered public? And would I work out the percentage of the FTE in that usage group that single person makes up? It is a relatively large development so that percentage would be extremely small.

Yes, the restroom described (even though it is only for exclusive use by a single important person) is considered public in the water calculations. If the fixture flush and/or flow rates in this bathroom differ from the other public restroom facilities, then the single FTE who utilizes these different fixtures should be accounted for in the calculations; however, since it is a large development the impact should be minimal either way.
