Hello,
i'm in the case of a regularly occupied space (a mechanical workshop in a warehouse), in which there is the possibility of no heating or cooling system installation. Is it possible from the point of view of LEED compliance? Are there any mandatory provision regarding this topic? Can a regularly occupied space be an unconditioned space from LEED point of view?
Thanks in advance

Yes, a regularly occupied space can be unconditioned. However, you may have trouble meeting the Thermal Comfort credit, and the space will still need to be either mechanically or naturally ventilated to comply with the Minimum Indoor Air Quality Performance prerequisite.

Hi Alessandro,
Can the regularly occupied space be an unconditioned space? The answer is yes.
Is your warehouse mechanically ventilated or naturally ventilated?
Regarding the prerequisite item, you need to check the compliance in EQP1 requirement for mechanically or naturally ventilated spaces.
And for the credit, EQ5 Thermal Comfort has separate requirement for warehouse & distribution centers if you want to achieve the point.
Thanks and regards.
