EBOM-v4 SSp1:Site management policy

Policy Template - Maintenance Equipment "goals"

In the Site Mgt Policy template for this prerequisite under the "goals" section for maintenance equipment, 3 options to select from are listed (limit grass, use only manual or electric equipment, or maintain reductions in HC, NOx, and CO). This is the only place I have seen these requirements/options. Are these three "options" required paths for this policy, or just suggestions?

Hi Maureen, those three options are more than suggestions, they're the options available to teams to demonstrate compliance with the maintenance equipment component of the Site Management credit. You should include one of them in your prerequisite policy if you plan to pursue the credit so that you're setting yourself up for success to earn the point. Even if you don't plan to attempt the credit, I would definitely select one to be your written goal since the policy template created by USGBC (download here: www.usgbc.org/node/2612883?view=resources) specifically includes it.
