We have a project pursuing the EApc95 as part of its effort to monitor its carbon footprint. When registering the project for the pilot credit, we selected "ACP" (Alternative Compliance Pathway) rather than "pilot credit," thinking this will give the project access to more points. Would selecting "pilot credit" render the project able to receive only a single point for EApc95?

ACP's must be applied as ACP's to replace existing LEED credit(s). See the credit language for EApc95: you applythe point allocations from Table 1 under EAc Optimize Energy Performance (1-18 points for LEED-NC). You cannot use an ACP as an innovation point for 1 point. When you apply an ACP, it exempts the project from having to pursue at least one pilot credit under Innovation section; see LEED Interpretatin #10483.
