[Pilot] Enhanced Acoustical Performance - Exterior Noise Control

Hello All,

We are targeting this pilot credit and one of the submittals required is an “operations plan for testing of emergency equipment, describing the reason a particular time of day was chosen for testing” – would a commissioning document suffice, or would we need a specific operations plan document? What’s the exact language they’re looking for “testing of emergency equipment”?

Thanks

Hi! My understanding is that they are referring to a schedule of future tests. The reason seems to be that schedule should be made taking into considerating days and times in order to avoid noise to the neighborhood during quiet hours.

According to the credit requirements, it is necessary to carry out an operations plan that includes a schedule of periodic tests to ensure that the equipment maintains the noise levels. I believe that if you have a periodic CX plan for all equipments, you can include these tests.
