Since this is listed as an alternative compliance path for LEED v4 ID&C Thermal Comfort; if we meet the requirements for both IEQ credit Thermal Comfort and the requirements for the pilot credit, do you receive the (1) point for IEQ Thermal Comfort and the additional (1) point for the pilot credit for a total of 2 points? Thank you, Rachel Bundy

I have the same question, please advice.
The credit is open under Pilot Credits as well as ACP Pilot Credits.

Yes, if you meet the requirements for IEQc Thermal Comfort under LEED v4 ID+C and simultaneously meet the requirements for the Thermal Comfort Pilot Credit (Alternative Compliance Path or ACP), you can potentially earn 2 points:
1 point for IEQc Thermal Comfort – Achieved by meeting the requirements of ASHRAE Standard 55-2010 (Thermal Comfort Design and Verification) or other recognized standards.
1 point for the Thermal Comfort Pilot Credit – Awarded through the Innovation category for implementing the pilot credit, which typically involves enhanced thermal comfort measures beyond the standard credit requirements.
To ensure both points are awarded:
Document compliance separately for both credits.
Submit supporting documentation for the Thermal Comfort Pilot Credit under the Innovation section in LEED Online.
Clearly distinguish the enhanced measures or strategies used to achieve the pilot credit, even if they align with or go beyond the standard requirements.
