Performance Period and this credit

Hello All, My questions touches on how this credit, in the LEED Online form, only asks for an audit date and not a performance period start and end date. I know that this credit must take place during the "performance period," with that in mind, is it safe to say that I could potentially host my audit now and that would be the beginning of the performance period? (even though other credit performance periods might not start until a few weeks from now.) Thank you for any insight.

Hi Sara, the performance period for any credit can be up to two years long. So you're correct that you could do the waste audit before your three month performance period, as long as you don't violate the two year rule. I'd actually encourage you to perform the audit early so that corrective action can be taken (if needed) and you can earn MRc7!
