We have a v2009 project that is within walking distance of 6 diverse uses as seen through the requirements of the v4 version of this credit. There is not a residential district nearby. May I use the v4 form as an alternate compliance for just 1 point? The USGBC article that covers v4 substitutions (https://www.usgbc.org/articles/use-v4-credits-your-v2009-project) says that you must earn all 4 options of the v4 credit to earn 5 points in your v2009 project, but doesn't specify if it is all or nothing compliance. Has anyone earned partial credit using this method?
Thanks!

I would guess no because the LEEDv2009 version of the credit does not have thresholds for points - it's high achievement or nothing. Judging from the wording in the v4 substitution article, they seem to be saying that the only option is to earn full credit. (And, LEED Online wouldn't have a way for a reviewer to award anything but five or zero points, unless they made some change in the platform specifically for this substitution...)
