We are looking at LEED for a multi-purpose sports facility with indoor space and an outdoor ice rink that is not enclosed. Would the outdoor ice rink factor into any energy performance criteria? Is the energy performance of chilling the ice excluded as a process load not covered by any tables?

The outdoor rink must be included in the models identically as a process load.

My pleasure Ralph! you can, of course, claim saving through an exceptional calculation for something like a higher efficiency chiller or other strategies.
