Organizations that provide offsite conservation

Hello, we have a project that is looking to acheieve SSc5 by signing a contract with a thrid-party conservationist. We have numbers from TNC but need required to collect 2 more quotes. Are there other organizations you've worked with? Thank you.

Correction, we thought we had a number from TNC. The Nature Conservancy is no longer providing this service.

Hi Varun - it might help to look at the requirements that EBOM v4 establishes for conservation organizations under this credit. In v4, the org must be 1) accredited by the Land Trust Alliance and 2) be in the same Level III ecoregion or within the same state as the project. Following those guidelines will also set you up for developing a relationship with an organization that you can partner with for future re-certifications. The Land Trust Alliance has an online tool that can help you find an accredited organization: https://www.landtrustalliance.org/find-land-trust.
