When the LEED handbook instructs to calculate the zone floor area by multiplying the bay width with the bay depth to core, is the "bay depth to core" considered the distance from the wall (or window sill) to where the double height of window head height ends or where the vertical 63 degree marker touches down to the room floor? If the floor space is relatively small, could the zone floor area then just represent the entire space square footage?
