We are trying to understand this credit. It appears that two sets of tests are required - a TVOC screening test and individual tests of 12 VOCs identified in the Table. The TVOC test is not pass/fail but if results exceed 500 ug/m3, you need to investigate and potentially perform corrective action. The individual VOCs all need to be under the concentration limits identified in the Table.
So if TVOCs are under the limit but even 1 individual VOC is even a hair over the limit, we fail the credit requirements. Is that correct?
It appears TVOCs can be retested, but I'm not sure why you would for LEED compliance if the TVOC test is not pass/fail. On the other hand, it does not say that you can retest any individual VOCs with or without corrective action. Is that correct?

As I understand it, if you fail any of the individual VOCs, you do not get this point. However, I think you can do a retest for any of these. From the user guide, "For each sampling point where the concentration exceeds the limit, take corrective action and retest for the noncompliant contaminants at the same sampling points. Repeat until all requirements are met."
