Hello community, I'd really like any of you guys help with this So our building is a dwelling unit with multiple rooms where labour/ workers will be living each each room has access to outdoors and the door opens outdoors. The design team has added split unit AC in each room. We do know that big chillers and central HVAC systems do have controls for fresh air intake. But split unit do not . According to this prerequisite we have to provide/proof 15% fresh air intake with the space. Where as our client is not agreeing to adding a fresh air diffuser or anything mechanical, they are saying the user will have access to windows and doors and they can open it whenever they want. This is very understandable but now how to comply with this ore requisite and how to prove the adequate fresh air is still accessible to this particular space.
