Hospitality-NC-v4 WEc2:Indoor water use reduction

No Appliances in the Scope

Hello,

We are currently working on a pod hotel project, where there no laundry or food services within the hotel.Therefore there are no appliances included in the project.

The reference guide states: "Hospitality projects may earn 1 point for meeting the requirements of one of the appliance and process water tables in  the credit requirements. In all cases, appliance and process water-use equipment installed in the project must meet the requirements of Table 2 of the prerequisite requirements."

Does this is mean we cannot achieve this 1 point?

Hi Muge, Thank you for your inquiry.  Because the scope of your project does not include appliance or process water equipment, you are not eligible to earn 1 point for meeting the requirements of one of the appliance and process water tables in the credit requirements. Your project can earn points under WE credit Indoor Water Use Reduction by further reducing fixture and fitting water use from the calculated baseline in WE Prerequisite Indoor Water Use Reduction; points are awarded according to Table 1. Points for reducing water use in the credit language.
