We are modelling a building with water cooled chillers.
We are preparing a baseline plant for LEED NC 2009.
For the check of necessary plant efficiencies we checked the minimal efficiencies with comcheck software.
We are wondering how to implement condenser efficiency of EER=13.1 and 38 gpm/hp into the eQUEST-model. The model only gives us the possibility to enter the EIR, which is 0.0226 as default.

EIR = 3.413/EER
You will first need to separate out the fan power from the EER which is explained in an example on page G-24 of the 90.1-2007 User's Manual.
If you right click in eQUEST the help should provide an explanation of EIR.
In the future eQUEST specific questions are best posted at http://onebuilding.org/
