i m working on a mixed use building project (mainly residential) and i have the following question:
1- for offices for example the daily usage is the summation of males usage and females usages based on teh FTE.while for residents in teh appartments shall i use same concept taking into consideration 50/50 ratio (daily use =residents*male ratio*usage per day+residents*female ration*usage per day).
2-In the appartments private toilets, bidets are installed.how to calculate their daily usage.

Your residential project should assume a 50/50 male to female ratio unless project conditions exist (such as a male dormitory) which would affect the gender ratio for the life span of the building and warrant an alternative ratio. If you feel that your project warrants an alternative ratio, submit a detailed narrative with the credit documentation to explain any special circumstances.
Per the BD+C Reference Guide, the calculations for WEp1 only include the following fixtures and fittings (as applicable to the project scope): water closets, urinals, lavatory faucets, showers, kitchen sink faucets and pre-rinse spray valves. Bidets are not included in this calculation.
