The LEEDuser survey template asks for the occupant’s home zipcode. Some of our occupants won’t want to provide this sort of personal information. Do we have to collect this data?

Hello, We are conducting a survey with government employees and are trying to reduce the survey length as much as possible. Do miles per gallon (mpg) need to be included in the survey or would make/model/year be enough?

Hi Jennifer, Collecting just the make/model/year is fine, since that's the information needed to cross check a vehicle against ACEEE. Miles per gallon as a stand-alone metric doesn't come into play for determining if a vehicle qualifies as low-emitting/fuel-efficient.
