We are working on a maintenance facility for a landfill (Don't worry - there is a big compost and container recycling operation there too!) They will be operating and maintaining garbage trucks. Normally I'd want to say this is LZ3 (commercial/industrial). However the landfill is located in the middle of a 600 acre site in a rural area. This makes me lean toward LZ1, the most restrictive category for site lighting. How would you expect a LEED reviewer to call this one?
