Hello,
I am working on a 10-story office LZ2 project looking for light pollution reduction by BUG and light trespass method.
1. On the second floor of the building I have a small terrace, it has direct view to the sky, however, being a private area this has a dividing wall that is located just above the lighting boundary, which means that it has no direct access to the outside. the luminaires that I have in this space are in the landscaping directly on the ground.
I would like to know if these luminaires should be included in the analysis taking into account the backlight and if so, if the mounting height would be zero or if it would be the distance from level zero to level 2 where the luminaire is located.
2. The top floor of the project is a walkable terrace called open space, but it has a pergola with some luminaires on it. These luminaires are also considered as exterior luminaires knowing that they are under the pergola ?
Thank You!

Estaban,
It's a little hard to understand you situation wihtout seeing drawings. But I doubt there are clear answers to your questions. Fixtures that are mounted up at higher levels of the building, such as on roof terraces, are always a problem because the credit requirements were written assuming that all the fixtures are at ground level. I think you should make interpretations and assumptions that you think are logical and then explain them in your submission. For example, if fitures cannot be seen from the ground or from adjacent buildings, then you could say that the trespass limits don't have to be applied to those fixtures.
