Schools-NC-v4.1 LTc8:Electric Vehicles

LT CREDIT: ELECTRIC VEHICLES for Schools - Option 1 Electric Vehicle Charging

The guide states that Option 1 for Schools Electric Vehicle Charging requires:

Install electrical vehicle supply equipment (EVSE) in 2% of all parking spaces used by the project or at least two spaces, whichever is greater.
Clearly identify and reserve these spaces for the sole use by plug-in electric vehicles.

The guide indicates there is no requirement for vehicle-to-grid (V2G) connection required.

However, LEEDuser states the EVSE must be vehicle to grid connected (e.g. ISO 15118 compliant) and capable of responding to time-of-use market signals (e.g. price). Projects pursuing EA credit Grid Harmonization should incorporate EVSE into any demand response program or load flexibility and management strategies.

Hi, Kimberly! LEEDuser gets its credit language directly from USGBC through a quarterly import. This thread talks about an addendum to this credit, however, removing the ISO 15118 requirement. So I think you can rest easy about it. In the meantime, I'll see if we can re-import the credit language with the addendum taken into account.
