We're working on an energy modeling configuration and filling the Section 1.4 Table: The project includes a mechanical room on the roof floor which is not entirely unclosed, it has a steel deck roof, and two sides are covered with a metal fence (the other two are brick walls). We initially considered this space as a mechanical room (1.5 W/sf) However, if we considere it as open space for exterior lighting, which would be the best ASHRAE classification?

I do not see an exterior lighting category that fits this situation at all. Even though the "space" is unconditioned I think that a mechanical room is probably the best fit.
