As I fill out the SSc4.2 credit form, I am having trouble reconciling my project into the changing facility vs. shower categories. The project has two large locker rooms with 100+ lockers. Within the locker rooms are 5 showers. I know I put 5 for the number of showers, but I am unsure what I put for the number of changing facilities. Do I use the number of lockers or can I put only two since there are only two rooms (even though these locker rooms are designed for a lot of people). The form takes the lowest of changing facilities or showers. If I have to put 2 for changing facilities, we most likely do not comply. If we can go with 5 (the number of showers), then we do comply.
Thanks in Advance!

The criterion is for showers. You should be ok.

Hi Ryan
I have the same issue. How did you get about this in the end? Was it accepted during review?
The criteria says 'shower and changing facilities' and the new form takes the lower of the two figures. So if you put 2 in (i.e. 1 locker rooms for males and 1 for females), the form states you do not comply.
Thanks in advance.

Credit requires changing facilities and not lockers although lockers can be used to comply with the changing facility. Basically, is there a place to change your clothes, shower and change into other clothes? A shower in a bathroom with robe hooks would satisfy the requirement. An ante room before the shower is a changing facility. If you're putting showers into a locker room and the shower is available to all building occupants, then there should be a similar number of lockers open to all building occupants. In other words, all the lockers can't be pre-assigned unless all building occupants have a locker. If you have 5 showers, then you need 5 lockers or similar that are open for all.
