We have project that is using a liquid body wash that is technically a liquid hand soap too (purchased as both but in different packaging). If the product meets one of the requirements of the hand soap (no anti-microbial agents) can it be deemed as acceptable for the sustainable purchasing of cleaning materials and products?

Jutta, We've tried that a couple of times (a window washing company uses the soap) and the GBCI rejected it because we couldn't prove that it was least toxic. If you think about it just because it's anti-bacterial doesn't necessarily mean it's least toxic.
Try going to the manufactures and asking for an EPD.
