Hi,
I am working on a hotel that have an outdoor bar on the second floor roof, the bar is covered by a canopy the surrounding buildings are the side walls. The light fixtures installed under the canopy and some of them installed on the walls to add some accent. When doing the lighting power calculation for the baseline model should I use the "Dining: bar lounge/leisure" from the building area method? or is it considered an exterior space? if it is an exteror space it falles under which category?
Thanks

I would use the exterior lighting for a canopy assuming the space is at least somewhat exposed to the outdoors. If the canopy is more like a roof and the space is not at all exposed to the outdoors then use the bar interior LPD.
