I'm starting a LEED Certification of a building that will be used to accommodate students, comprising of 220 individual rooms that are to be fully occupied between September and July (occupancy in August will be probably around 50%).

We were thinking to adopt the following approach:

  1. LEED BD+C Hospitality (based on the fact that the building will provide transitional lodging);
  2. Use the following figures for occupancy:
    1. FTE (students in guest rooms): 1 x 220;
    2. FTE (employees): 5 (based on client indication)
    3. Days per year: 359 (334 fully occupied + 31 / 50% occupied)

Do you think it is acceptable ?
