For EAc5 M&V:
The Addenda allows NC, CS and Schools projects to earn an exemplary performance point for pursuing Option 3 (meeting MPR6 through the Energy and Water Data Release Form) in addition to Option 1 or 2.
Has anyone tried submitting this as an EP point for Healthcare?

I haven't heard if anyone has tried this but I'm dubious that it would work based on two thoughts. First, the HC supplement rewrites this credit and I'm finding that when this is done, the GBCI is less likely to simply roll NC interpretations over to HC. Second, how would this be innovative in healthcare? I find that reporting and using the Energy Star website is common in this industry. Perhaps my viewpoint is skewed and your team would be successful.

Update: Exemplary Performance for EAc5 M&V is an option in the LEED Online form. It says this option aims to incentivize whole building data collection for LEED projects. The project team has 1) checked MPR #6, "Must commit to sharing whole-building energy and water data" and 2) selected Option 1 in PI Form 1.

Megan, did you achieve this extra point for your healthcare project? I am wondering if my project can achieve the extra point for committing to sharing and selecting Option 1 in PI form 1.

My project hasn't submitted for the construction phase review yet. I will provide an update at a later date.
