I have a site that does not have enough power from the local grid so is considering a self contained LPG based generation on site. I'm just wondering if this will have an impact on any of the credits because it will have a significant impact on the carbon intensity of the whole project.
The site will use a lot more power due to the onsite conversion from LPG to electricity, but the building itself will not use much more (slight increase due to transmission losses).
Does anybody have any experience of this?
