I am working on a project that has 3 levels of parking in addition to 10 floors of office space/labs. On the parking levels, no changes have been made to the lighting or ventilation systems. I have two questions:
1. How do I model the lighting systems that haven't changed. Would these be modeled identically between the baseline and proposed case?
2. How do I model the existing parking garage ventilation system? Would this be modelded identically between the baseline and proposed cases as well? The LEED reviewer noted that they wanted to see documentation that the parking garage fans modulate based on contaminant levels. Since we didn't even touch the existing ventilation system, the systems don't comply with 6.4.3.4.5.

1. existing building systems that have not been modified should be modeled identically.
2. Existing building systems that have not been modified should be modeled identically. In general existing building systems that are not modified are not required to comply with the mandatory provisions. It is only when those systems are modified that they are required to come up to 90.1 compliance.
