Really hope this is acceptable. We have a MAJOR project where the charettes were scheduled in May of 2020 - no way we were scheduling in person - and based on the reality of people's calendars at that point, opted for 6 separate one-hour meetings, which included a kickoff and wrap-up. So exceeded the minimum time, and exceeded the participants requirement, but had to break it up. My thinking was that with the reality of COVID, reviewers would understand this met the intent of the credit (but it will be some time before we wrap up design and submit this credit, so won't have any feedback until then).

Though USGBC didn't specifically address this question, they did post several FAQs related to COVID issues, and request that teams contact them with any other specific questions for discussion. If you want peace of mind sooner you may want to contact them to discuss:
