Warehouses-NC-v4 MPR2:Must use reasonable LEED boundaries

LEED Boundary with road

The project is a warehouse with a ringroad being built around it. The problem is that a section of the road is outside of the boundary. How is it possible to integrate the road if there is land that doesn't belong to the project between the LEED boundary and the road ?

Thank you for your help.

Hi Marine,  As stated on LEED guide page 28 "The LEED project boundary must include all contiguous land that is associated with the project and supports its typical operations. This includes land altered as a result of construction and features used primarily by the project’s occupants, such as hardscape (parking and sidewalks), septic or stormwater treatment equipment, and landscaping."  As the result, if the road still is part of your landscaping or open space, it would make sense to include it in your LEED boundary.
