Healthcare-v4 MRc6:PBT source reduction - lead, cadmium and copper

Lead-free paint

I was looking to see if there is a threshold that states the amount of lead in paint that is considered lead-free (something along the lines of what is stated for pipes or flux). I read that in order for paint to be considered lead-based it must have greater than or equal to 0.5% lead. Can anyone confirm if this is true for this credit or if the requirement is 0% lead?

While getting confirmation from a paint manufacturer, they stated their paint contains less than 0.009% of lead hence me asking the question.

I posted this question to LEEDCoach and their response was paints must be free of lead and cadmium (contain 0%) to meet the requirements of this credit.
