Hello,
We are using Tally, the program by Kieran Timberlake, to complete our Life Cycle Assessment for LEED. Our engineers tell us that the best they can do, due to scheduling conflicts, is produce a concrete mix design with 15% fly ash. However Tally only gives us fly ash options in the form of 25%, 30% and 50%. That being said we have run into a wall because we are unsure how to proceed. Now, there is a text box on the LEED form for "Special Circumstances" though we are unsure, it is our first time doing LCA in our office, if we need to put our circumstance in detail in the "Special circumstances" box or if we need to contact Kieran Timberlake to express the need for more fly ash options in tally and our current predicament. Any help would be much appreciated.

Mary,
Fortunately there is a much easier option, which is the custom concrete entry in Tally. If your engineers can provide the full mix specifications you can enter that into Tally, allowing your Tally model to reflect your design intent. If you would like for me to show you the location in Tally where you can access this option please reach out directly at support(at)choosetally.com

Hello Mary,
As an alternative, you could try One Click LCA. We have data for concrete mixes with that include fly ash in a range between 10% to 40%. Similarly, we have mixes with different % slag (or GGBS). And, we provide those at compressive strengths between 1500 psi to 10200 psi.
Also, we are able to rapidly create mixes for your projects on demand or provide you the tools to do so.
I hope this helps. Best, Rod

Thanks Roderick! There is a ton of information and options, we simply overlooked that option.
Thanks Rodrigo, we will keep this in mind for the future!
