Hi
Our firm is currently working on a core & shell project of an office building. We've designed a bicycle facility in accordance with the LEED credit compliance, within the building facility. We also have more than 10 diverse uses and about 5 bus rapid transit stations within the 3 mile vicinity of the site, but the vicinity is lacking in a proper bicycle network. There are not enough bike lanes and streets that comply with the LEED standards of a bicycle network.
How can we go about achieving the points for this credit without a planned bicycle network facility in the vicinity of site?

Hi
C&S, Option 2.
Our project has more than 10 diverse uses within the 3 mile vicinity of the site and it complies with the bike lanes and 25 MPH speed limit zone. Do the 10 diverse uses need to comply with the amount of categories, such as those outlined for LTc Surrouning Density and Diverse Uses, Option 2 which requires that "the counted uses must represent at least three of the five catergories"? Or is it sufficient to ensure compliance with no more than two uses in each use type? Many thanks! Vikki Tucker

I have asked the question above and unfortunately thought I needed to add more. I am ok with my question above. Thank you
