Under the Site Management Policy template there is an area on irrigation management which explains the procedure for a proper preventive maintenance, and it mentions: Check for leaks using irrigation sub-meter readings. Do we have to install a sub-meter for our irrigation system when our landscape is mainly rocks, trees, and bushes, no grass. And our estimated water consumption for irrigation system is 4,992 gallons per year.
