International Project - Case 2 Option 1 or Option 2

Dear all, The case 2 calculator has pointed us towards using Case 2 - Option 1 for our Existing Retail Mall project located outside of the US. Under this option, the calculator states that an alternate source EUI data should be entered. This, I assume would be the national average source EUI - which is not available in Malaysia. As such, would it be acceptable is we used Case 2B - project building historical data instead? Some general guidance on selecting the right case would be much appreciated! =) Thank you!

The alternative source EUI is optional for international projects. You can use the default source EUI too. I would reach out to GBCI before pursuing Case 2B when the building is also eligible for Case 2 Option 1.
